Important Information

When you're traveling in Uruguay and need a place to spend the night, make sure to ask for a Hotel. If you ask for a Motel, they will probably wonder where your female companion is. The length of time one stays in a Motel is typically measured in hours. If you don't know what I'm talking about yet, it probably doesn't matter.

Motels down here are what our grandfathers call "casas de citas", but they adopted the name motels, I don't know why..

have a nice trip!

"...In a nude noodle shop, in the nefarious zone..."

Now that kind of situation is what I call a cross-cultural train wreck! Just think, there are some countries where a sign reading "Massage" doesn't carry any hidden meanings either.

Hope that things end up running smoother in the future!
