I appreciate the feedback.

Second, please don't make your comments so entertaining. You are devaluing my blog posts. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Third, I did not bring a PFD. The closest thing I brought was a dry bag for my Amazon voyage. Unfortunately, I don't have it with me right now. I'll pick it up later en route (I'm storing it and a few other items up the road a few klicks), as I won't be needing it in Patagonia, and so figured I'd go a bit lighter down south. If the mainland doesn't flood from the icebergs and global warming prior to my retrieving my dry bag, I might survive. I guess I could always camp out in the Andes until things cool off and the water level drops.

Thanks for the heads up. :)

JayJay Philip Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06345224230392616406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4560376839318128322.post-80587145459129315122008-03-26T13:44:00.000-07:002008-03-26T13:44:00.000-07:00BTW, hope you brought a life preserver with you to...BTW, hope you brought a life preserver with you to Argentina; apparently a part of the Wilkins Ice Shelf in Antarctica ("about seven times the size of Manhattan!!!") has split off and made quite a splash in the media, especially those who are green and insist that because this portion of the shelf split off, more of it is going to break off and wreak havoc upon the known universe.

So Chicken Little was right, run for the hills, the sky is falling!!! But please get some good pictures of the (non-existent) tidal wave that's going to engulf the entire face of the planet.

Bon chance,
EduardAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4560376839318128322.post-91338377672020225312008-03-25T12:12:00.000-07:002008-03-25T12:12:00.000-07:00Like the pix, especially the kid running along the...Like the pix, especially the kid running along the sidewalk (and the second shadow without the person adds an air of mystery), and then the kid looking out the window of the boat.

EduardAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4560376839318128322.post-7942586090154159962008-03-25T06:01:00.000-07:002008-03-25T06:01:00.000-07:00The word private entered my mind, but didn't sound...The word private entered my mind, but didn't sound right for some reason.

I guess there are some girls that like that kind of thing, huh?
